The Associated Press (AP) has just put out a story on the peak oil report released today by the Government Accountability Office (GAO). The story will be published by dozens or hundreds of newspapers and news sites.
“What does the energy crisis teach us? That it’s hard for meaningful change when few think there is a problem,” MIT author Meg Jacobs said. The challenge today, as much as it was then, is to “create a market and momentum for new ways of thinking about energy.”

The report will reveal the U.S. is particularly vulnerable and the U.S. federal government is unprepared to respond to severe consequences from an increasing risk of significant disruptions to world oil supplies from peak oil and other factors.
