When it comes to taking action on climate change, the focus always seems to be on what each of us can do personally. Perhaps you, too, are wondering what part business, industry and governments have to play?
I suspect that our site (peakoil.com), along with some others have been taken off the filtered site list in China’s firewall. This probably represents a change in policy for China. We welcome our Chinese visitors of course & hope to bring them into the conversation.
The approach which is hardest to sell seems like the safest. It relies on the concrete, concerted actions of people everywhere doing things that require no miracles of technology, no rosy assumptions about the future availability of critical resources, and only limited faith in the marketplace. It is an approach that one can get started on today without the enactment of any big government program.
