Watching Work

All work involves, to some degree, both body and mind. This plays a major role in the degree to which AI can or cannot effectively replace human labour. Yet even if AI can not succeed in taking away your job, it might succeed in taking away a big chunk of your paycheque.

The Stupor Bowl

Instead of considering reforming, or dare-I-say REGULATING an industry which produces no product, we seem content to continue on in a stupor; balling outwardly with our vulgar displays of conspicuous consumption, while at the same time bawling inwardly at our lack of resolve to enact change.

The Laboratory of the Commons

We can only say very generally that something on which we mutually depend for our survival and well-being is a commons, and through our implication into a commons, we are called forth to action, toward the need to collaboratively govern this commons together (be it digital, urban, educational, atmospheric, etc.). But beyond this, their logics are diverse.
