Terezie Daňková

Terezie Daňková is a farmer with two children, from South Bohemia in the Czech Republic. Her family has been in agriculture for ages. After the Velvet Revolution they restarted farming on they own. In the beginning Terezie helped her father with farming along with activities in the ecological movement Children of the Earth. Later she overtook the business. Her vision was a combination of farming, tourism and and rodeo tournaments. She runs her business in a small village about 130km south of Prague. Terezie is active in public both on regional and national level. She has been a member of the Committee for Culture and Tourism of the South Bohemian region for twelve years. She previously worked as an assistant to the Chairman of the Foreign Committee of the Czech House of Representatives, and external advisor to the Czech Prime Minister.
