Phoebe is Senior Reporter at DeSmog, where she joined researching corporate interest in forest carbon offsets in March 2020. She previously trained as a news reporter across local titles in Essex and East London, before going freelance in 2017. Her work has since appeared in The Independent, The Evening Standard, The Sun Online, Deutsche Welle, The Local and Prospect Magazine. She holds a degree in German from Oxford University and a senior diploma in newspaper journalism. She is currently completing a part-time Master’s in Global Environmental Policy and Politics at Birkbeck, University of London.
