Marie Scatena is an oral history researcher, Openlands Treekeeper and former museum educator who works collaboratively to create projects based on first-person narratives. Her current work includes a public health archive at The New York Public Library opening next year and her blog, From the Same Tree/S Istog Smo Stabla, which documents family history alongside the impact of tourism in Croatia, with interviews to be published in 2027.
