Beekeeping Challenges and Changes

U.S. beekeeping is undergoing changes and challenges. The outside environment of bees is not stable, whether impacted by climate change, mites or viruses. Beekeepers are increasingly called upon to support pollination of crops and honey production sometimes becomes secondary.

After forty years of raising bees and writing about their habits and challenges, "I’m still learning". says Kim Flottum, Honey Bee expert and Bee Culture editor.
