From New York to Chengdu, Vancouver to Berlin, Timothy has spent his life in pursuit of languages. After working as a doctor of Traditional Chinese Medicine for ten years, his recent return to translation work has been a homecoming back to his passion for the subtleties of language and nuances of communication. Inspired by language revitalization movements, Timothy is dedicated to the spreading and sharing of information, using Guerilla Translation’s Open Cooperative Governance Model to inspire other grassroots organizations to self-mobilize. Timothy also volunteers with Wikitongues and is a member of the International Association of Hyperpolyglots. Timothy writes about language here.
