This week's theme on the Transition Network social reporting blog is Food and Health with our guest editorial from Tamzin Pinkerton, author of the Transition book: Local Food. When Tamzin was working on the food book in 2008, her daughter was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia. In this personal story she tells how she found that the medical definition of health barely acknowledges the role of food, or even the full implications of lifestyle, and her experiences in dealing with that.
