 Michael Wilson Becerril, Ph.D. is the author of Resisting Extractivism: Peruvian Gold, Everyday Violence, and the Politics of Attention (Vanderbilt University Press, 2021) and a member of the board of directors at Our Climate. His writing has appeared on Al Jazeera, The Washington Post, The NACLA Report on the Americas, Truthout, Latino Rebels and several other venues.
