The economics of happiness

Steve Gorelick, professor at Sterling College in Craftsbury, is co-director of the new film The Economics of Happiness, which argues that rebuilding our local economies not only keeps money in our communities, but also leads to more happiness.

Caller George from Washington referred to the Vermont-based organization Gross National Happiness USA.

During the open phones, we learned that Fox News’ parent corporation says it has gone carbon neutral, and we just started to hear Christine Patton’s ideas on how, with no new technology, you can make your house twice as efficient or your car three times as efficient. And two callers ask about wind and solar.
