Shunro Yoshida started Transition in Japan in 2008, is a co-founder of Transition Japan and today serves as its co-director. After becoming a  Permaculturist, he received Transition Training in London in 2008 and became a trainer in 2009. His background includes training in the business world. Shunro currently lives in an off-grid house he built himself and works in forestry and Transition Town Minami-Aso.

Japan in Transition – Fujino
