Florent Marcellesi is a former MEP (Greens/EFA) and the former co-chair of the Spanish Green party Verdes Equo. He is a political ecology researcher and activist, a member of the editorial council of the magazine Ecología política, and a member of the think tank Ecopolítica. He is the author of several books on political ecology, post-growth, energy issues, and ecological and just transition. He is also a specialist and lecturer in international cooperation (University of the Basque Country, Bilbao).
