Boyan Atzev is a graduate student in Anthropology, with a special interest in social movements at The University Of Ottawa. His current research focuses on the use of Mindfulness Mediation in self-help psychology. Recently, he has been fascinated with the topics of self-governance and contemporary peasant movements. Boyan is part of the Boards of Governors Coalition at the University of Ottawa, which educates students about the governance of the university and campaigns around issues such as tuition hikes, fossil fuel divestment and the precarious employment for Canadian academic staff.
