Andrew Kurjata is a story collector, sound curator, bike commuter and pet owner in Lheidli T’enneh. I make radio and tell digital stories in the traditional territory of the Lheidli T’enneh First Nation, better known as Prince George, British Columbia, Canada. I like my job and my home quite a bit, so that’s good. That being said, this is my personal site and is not representative of the views of anyone else.

When I woke up this week, the sun was blocked out by smoke. I’m writing this on August 19, 2018 from Prince George which, according to the map on my computer, has an air quality index rating of 224 aka Purple aka “Very Unhealthy.”
