Samadhee Kaluarachchi is a PhD student at the University of British Columbia, studying the sensitivity of flood regimes to human activities and how to use nature-based solutions for flood management. She completed her Master of Science in Forestry, proposing a causal framework for studying extreme flood events and methods for studying the effects of changing forest cover on floods. More information about her is available on her UBC Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies profile.
