You can also forward this email and e-book to friends and family, and share it on Facebook and Twitter to help others become aware of the commons. Our future depends on it.

This year we made tremendous strides in our commons work: We expanded and refined our website to create a lively Commons Magazine and Commons Work section, where we feature work from the field. Our team also helped create an initiative to declare the Great Lakes a commons, partnered to develop an open source seed project, and convened a gathering of commoners from across the country to share tools, ideas, and more.

We must continue to work together to name, claim, protect, and equitably manage the commons because it is all that we have—and we cannot do it without the support of commons champions like yourself. Don’t wait to expand your support of the commons. Become a commoner today, and make a tax-deductible donation to On the Commons.
