Orlando Raola is president of Esperanto-USA. He was born in Havana, Cuba in 1955, and became an Esperantist in the early 1990s. He has a Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of California Santa Barbara (2005). He teaches chemistry at Santa Rosa Junior College in California and lives in Greenbrae. Interview (Spanish)

There is a direct link between the goals of Esperantists, and those of the movement for climate justice. We can provide an alternative way for communication between all people interested in a viable future for planet Earth.
